ESO'19

1/09/2019 @BOZAR – Brussels, Belgium

In 2019, the first European Student Orchestra came together in Brussels. 70 musicians from 15 different European countries came to Belgium for one week of rehearsals. At the end of this week, BOZAR Centre for Fine Arts hosted us for an unforgettable concert that kicked of the ESO project for real. The ESO performed the Concerto Romanesc by Ligeti and Brahms’ first symphony, conducted by Belgian conductor Benjamin Haemhouts.

This 2019 edition was an incredible teaser for the future ESO editions, in which we will bring our music to different European countries, during a more extended concert trip.

If we all end up in prison one day for illegal music downloads, I can only hope that they divide us by music genres.
